MCBC Board Meeting
February 13th 7PM

State Farm Insurance agent:
Dean Nomura stopped by to meet new board members and to review current insurance policies.
Ratify new Board Members:
New board members- Garret Pick, Kristi Lundell, Colleen O Handley and Monique Todebush were welcomed to the MCBC board of directors, per the by-laws allowing interim election. Earlier in the year, existing BOD members, Ken Middleton, Peter Melnyk, Carol Sullivan, Rodger Reilly and Jack Blezard voted by e-mail proxy to accept the new members to the board
Accept new Hire:
Lawrence Kaowili was hired to provide part time service by a unanimous vote by all BOD members. Lawrance will be paid @ $8.00 hourly for part time weekend help to oversee MCBC parties and pool activities. Also, he will help Joe with maintenance projects and coverage as needed. No medical benefits were offered and he has signed the required employment forms with Metropolitan Management.
Review Website activity: Marinerscovebayclub.org
BOD reviewed current updates to the new website monitored by Garret Pick. Creating a banner that announces the website was discussed and will be the responsibility of the social committee.
Plan for Annual Meeting:
Responsibilities and topics agenda of March 16th annual meeting were discussed-
2005 recap and 2006 plan
Financial statement and budget.
New board meeting to follow
The following maintenance projects were updated and discussed with Joe B.
Discuss Bob Fagerson issue:
The board read and discussed the recent letter from Bob Fagerson’s lawyer, Harold Chu
Bob made 6 demands in his letter and the BOD’s discussed and agreed to offer solutions.
A letter will be sent drafted by Jack Blezard to Harold Chu pending full board approval.
Party Rules review:
The rules listed below were discussed and will be adopted and subsequently added to the Party policy for 2006 on the website.
Note: in 2005 no one MCBC home owner booked more than 3 events.
