Aloha Santa is asking for your help to support our keiki.  Please consider "stepping" into the holiday spirit by donating new pairs of rubber slippers for school-aged children and youth who are experiencing homelessness.  The slippers can be for a boy or girl and all sizes are welcome.       The slippers will be donated to the Department of Education's Homeless Concerns Office who work with the schools to ensure that identified students are enrolled in school and given access to the same supports as provided to other students.  Each year there are students who may not be able to take advantage of these supports due to their lack of appropriate footwear.  Currently, the Homeless Concerns Office supports over 2,000 students who reside in homeless situations statewide.        Please donate your slippers by Friday, December 5th. If you have any questions a/or would like to donate some slippers, kindly contact Jan at 383-2540.
